The Funniest Get-Ups On The Masked Singer (& Who Wore Them)

While The Masked Singer may be a relatively new show, it’s viewer counts have soared over the show’s last three seasons. Actually, in the United States, it’s the most-watched during its air-time on Fox.

Being viewed all across North America, the show is best known for the outrageous (and sometimes unsettling) costumes which celebrities hide their identities with while they sing their heart outs on stage. Here are some of those get-ups, and who wore them, too.

10 T-Pain - The Monster

Everyone knows T-Pain for his auto-tuned music in the R&B industry, but his victory in the first season of the show was his opportunity to prove that there is some real talent behind the digital changes in his music.

Hiding behind the mask of a monster, this big, fluffy, purple costume looks both silly and fun, as he prances across the stage.

9 Kelly Osborne - The Ladybug

Kelly Osborne’s name is one of the most iconic in rock history. Being part of the Osborne family and daughter to Sharon and Ozzy, it’s not hard to believe the talent she possesses. Having an extensive discography and being the winner of six prestigious awards, the relatively young star tried her hand at The Masked Singer dressing as the ladybug.

This is one of those one needs to think about whether they love it or hate it.

8 Raven-Symoné - The Black Widow

A That’s So Raven flashback may be triggered when one hears the name “Raven-Symoné,” but now, she’s off to bigger and better things, including showcasing one of her many other talents: singing.

Showing up in season two as the black widow spider, some may have to look away. While the costume is obviously not life-like, it definitely is a silly sight to watch those legs go!

7 Tyler "Ninja" Blevins - The Ice Cream

It was a surprise to see streaming mogul Tyler “Ninja” Blevins behind the voice of the magical ice cream cone dancing across the stage.

Despite being most recognized in the online gaming world, he wasn’t voted as a very good singer and was actually--to the contrary--voted the worst of the week at one point! It was, however, quite a surprise for his online subscribers to see his face behind the mask.

6 Wayne Brady - The Fox

Let’s Make A Deal! That’s probably where most people know this game show host from; but did they know he had the voice of an angel?

With appearances in other television shows including How I Met Your Mother and more, Wayne Brady has proved time and time again that he has talent in every corner. On The Masked Singer, he took the stage dressed as a pretty comical fox. He went on to take the top spot in the second season.

5 Jesse McCartney - The Turtle

It’s been a while since everyone’s heard of this guy! Jesse McCartney was a teen heartthrob back in the early 2000s, wooing young girls all across America with his love songs and dreamy eyes. Like many other artists, he showed off his other talents like acting and voice acting over the years.

Going back to singing, he became the turtle, which caused a lot of confusion throughout the season as many people suspected but weren’t 100% sure.

4 Bella Thorne - The Swan

Shake It Up and Disney child actress, Bella Thorne, has always had a beautiful voice, as she showcased time and time again since she left her childhood ground-breaking gig.

Coming on to the show as a swan, one has to wonder just exactly what she was thinking. While the show is definitely all fun and games when it comes to the costumes, Thorne brings out this giant swan head and it’s just too much not to laugh at.

3 Tom Bergeron - The Taco

He was one of the most loved hosts of America’s highest adored shows for more years than one can count. If someone doesn’t know what that’s referring to, they’ve been living under a rock. It turns out the ex-host of America’s Funniest Home Videos, Tom Bergeron, has a set of pipes on him, too!

He was one of the funniest costumes yet, posing as a dancing, singing taco. Mmmm!

2 Tony Hawk - The Elephant

Esteemed professional skateboarder, Tony Hawk, blessed the audience of The Masked Singer in season three, performing in an elephant costume. It definitely sounds sillier than one would think, although it’s definitely a very fun-to-look-at costume!

Hawk didn’t make it very far into the series but says he had a fun time, despite it being mildly stressful.

1 Bow Wow - The Frog

Another rapper that’s been scorned by the haters!

Bow Wow, whose real name is Shad Moss, is relatively not new to the music industry, having been in the business since the late ‘90s. He didn’t get his first big break until around 2015. In the most recent season of The Masked Singer, he managed to take home third place, something he says--similarly to T-Pain--validates him as an artist.
