The singer’s most public relationships with Joe Jonas and Wilmer Valderrama both ended in heartbreak, but Lovato eventually picked up the pieces. She met Valderrama in 2010, shortly after her split from Jonas, and the pair quickly fell head over heels for one another. Even through her darkest moments, Valderrama was Lovato’s “rock” despite their age gap.
Lovato later moved on with actor Max Ehrich, who proposed in 2020. Us Weekly confirmed later that year that they called it quits.
By August 2022, Lovato had found love again with musician Jordan Lutes. They got engaged in December 2023.
